House of Ruth Maryland (HRM), one of the nation’s most comprehensive domestic violence centers, has purchased a second location at 2521 N. Charles St., in Baltimore. HRM will use the new facility as a community center and the location of their Training Institute, which educates service professionals, businesses, community groups and others on domestic violence. The building will also house HRM’s Gateway Project and accept donations for their thrift shop. HRM’s current Baltimore location will remain in operation.
MacKenzie Senior Vice President Karen S. Deeley, represented HRM in the transaction. “It has been an honor and pleasure to work with the House of Ruth in finding a space that meets their requirements and that allows them the community outreach necessary to support their mission,” says Deeley.
