Comcast Cable today announced that Mary McLaughlin has been appointed Senior Vice President of the company’s Beltway Region, which includes Maryland, Virginia, Washington, D.C. and parts of Delaware, North Carolina and West Virginia.
“Mary is a proven, hands-on leader who cares deeply about her employees and customers and is always striving for excellence,” said Kevin Casey, President of Comcast’s Northeast Division. “Her passion and expertise will be instrumental in our efforts to transform the customer experience and deliver best-in-class products and services to our Beltway Region customers.”

Throughout her career, McLaughlin has received numerous accolades for her leadership and the inspiring example she sets for others. CableFAX: The Magazine recently named McLaughlin as one of the “Most Powerful Women in Cable” for 2015, an honor she also held in 2014 and 2008. She was named a “Top Regional Player” in the publications’ annual “The 100” top power players list each year from 2011 to 2015. In addition, she has been recognized as a “Women in Business” honoree by the Hartford Business Journal and a “Visionary Woman of Excellence” by Unity First.
