SHERIF OSMAN, MD, CWS, FAPWCA
Dr. Osman is the Medical Director for the Center for Wound Care at UM Upper Chesapeake Medical Center. He has had a passionate interest in wound care for over 20 years. He started the first chronic wound treatment clinic in Harford County and was the first local physician to be certified in wound care. His treatment philosophy involves assessment and management in an integrative, compassionate and holistic manner. By utilizing his skills as an internist and a wound care specialist, he is able to obtain the best possible healing outcomes and help prevent wound relapse. Dr. Osman received his medical degree from the University of Cairo Faculty of Medicine and completed an internal medicine residency at Polyclinic Medical Center, Pinnacle Health in Harrisburg, PA. Dr. Osman is a Certified Wound Specialist and is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is also a Fellow of American Professional Wound Care Association (FAPWCA) and a member of the Association for the Advancement of Wound Care (AAWC).
ELEISHA FLANAGAN, MD
Dr. Flanagan is a general and bariatric surgeon who received her medical degree from Howard University College of Medicine. She completed her residency in general surgery from Washington Hospital Center in Washington, DC followed by a minimally invasive and bariatric surgical fellowship at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. In addition to her clinical duties, she is a member of several committees and organizations including the American College of Surgery, Society of Advanced Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons, American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery, and Women in Surgery. She practices at Upper Chesapeake Surgical Associates as well as Upper Chesapeake Bariatric Surgery. Dr. Flanagan joined the wound care team in January 2015 and provides her expertise in surgery and patient care to the center.
ANDREW LANDIS, MD, DPM, CWS
Dr. Landis attended medical school at the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago and completed his residency at Central Community Hospital. In addition to his podiatric practice, he has been treating patients at the Center for Wound Care for 9 years. He is a certified wound specialist and uses advanced therapies and practices to attain the best outcome for each patient.
MARK GONZE, MD
Dr. Gonze serves as Surgical Director for the Center for Wound Care. He is a graduate of the Pennsylvania State University Medical School; he completed his residency at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh and a vascular fellowship at the Ochnser Medical Clinic in New Orleans. Dr. Gonze has a special interest in endovascular surgery. He is the author of numerous published articles and has given presentations at national meetings on endovascular aneurysm repair. He now serves as proctor for the AneruRx endovascular aneurysm repair system, having gained extensive endovascular experience at the Ochnser Clinic. Dr. Gonze has been treating wounds for over 20 years. He is currently the division chief of vascular surgery, chief of surgery at UM Upper Chesapeake Health and assistant clinical professor of surgery at University of Maryland Medical Center. I95
