Loyola University Maryland’s Sellinger School of Business and Management named Bob Cawley chair of the board of sponsors, which advises in the advancement and strategic direction of the Sellinger School. Cawley is President of insurance advisory firm RCM&D and an alumnus of Loyola.
Cawley, who has more than 32 years of leadership experience in insurance brokerage, is responsible for the day-to-day management, leadership, strategy, sales and client services of RCM&D, which employs over 275 employees located in six offices through the Mid-Atlantic region.
Cawley has knowledge and experience in business risk analysis, alternative risk financing, self-insurance, risk management and employee benefit consulting. He has served as an expert speaker in national settings on insurance matters, including the development of a professional services firm, solvency and regulatory matters, and the formation and management of client-owned captive insurance companies.
He previously held senior-level positions in private and publicly traded insurance brokerage, consulting, and risk management and employee benefit advisory firms.
