Kyri Jacobs was named president of Bonnie Heneson Communications (BHC), a full-service marketing communications firm headquartered in Owings Mills, and Bonnie Heneson was named CEO. The shift comes as BHC celebrates 25 years of business this year.
Heneson, who has more than 35 years of experience in the field, founded BHC in 1990. Jacobs joined the firm in 1992 and became a partner and executive vice president in 2007 when she opened the firm’s Columbia office.
In her role as CEO, Heneson will continue serving clients and developing new business in addition to casting the broad vision and forward-thinking strategy of the firm. Jacobs will also continue serving clients and developing new business while leading the firm’s day-to-day operations.
“Kyri has been an integral part of the growth of BHC over the past 23 years and this is a well-deserved promotion,” Heneson said. “I’m confident the firm will have a bright future under her leadership in the years to come.”
Jacobs has spent more than 20 years as a communications, public relations, advertising, media and marketing professional, leading major campaigns for some of BHC’s largest clients.
