Wine and spirits distributor moving to Baltimore Crossroads in White Marsh/Middle River
Reliable Churchill, LLLP, the largest wine and spirits distributorship in Maryland and employer of over 500 associates, is relocating its headquarters to Baltimore County. A new 449,200 square foot building at Baltimore Crossroads in White Marsh/Middle River will be built by Chesapeake Real Estate Group LLC and Industrial Income Trust to consolidate Reliable Churchill’s office and warehouse operations in a state-of-the-art facility.
“Reliable Churchill’s move to Baltimore County adds a new headquarters with over 500 associates to the thousands of people already working at Baltimore Crossroads,” said Baltimore County Executive Kamenetz. “Baltimore Crossroads in Middle River has become a significant employment center, made possible when the State and Baltimore County built the extension of Maryland Route 43 to open 1,000 acres of land for business and job creation.”
“It is great to see job growth along the MD Rt. 43 corridor and we welcome Reliable Churchill to our Middle River business community,” said Councilwoman Cathy Bevins. “They join the growing number of companies that already know what a great place eastern Baltimore County is to work and live.”
Baltimore Crossroads is a 1,000 acre business community on Maryland Route 43, near Interstate 95 in White Marsh/Middle River. Once completed, it will feature nearly 5.5 million square feet of space, including office and flex space, manufacturing/industrial, retail amenities, and a mix of homes, luxury apartments and open space.
“We are pleased that Reliable Churchill is adding another headquarters to the business park that includes BGE HOME, Atlantic Design, Inc., and PEVCO,” said Jim Lighthizer, a principal with Chesapeake Real Estate Group. “We are confident that the mix of Class A buildings, location, infrastructure and new development such as Greenleigh at Crossroads will continue to make Baltimore Crossroads a great place for business.”
Earlier this year, St. John Properties announced it is building Greenleigh at Crossroads, a 200-acre mixed use neo-traditional development that will include mid-rise Class “A” office, and a mix of detached single family, town homes, multi-family and condos, open spaces, and park lands. A coordinated streetscape will create a pedestrian-friendly community in the style of traditional neighborhood development.
